Applications will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, for the 20 hour per week position of Executive Director of the Ladysmith Main Street Program. This position receives a yearly salary of $20,000. This position will operate under the direction of the Main Street Board and will be responsible for coordinating revitalization activities using the Wisconsin Main Street Program’s four-point approach. Applicants should have education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: marketing, volunteer management, project management, or small business development/recruitment. Experience with event planning, historic preservation, planning, economic development, retailing, design, or non-profit management a plus. Must be entrepreneurial, energetic, well organized, and able to work well with others. Excellent communications skills and passion for the task are necessary.
